The State of Florida Board of Massage Therapy & Bodyworkers requires all licensees to obtain 24 continuing educations credits within a 24 month period. Each licensee must complete one (1) hour of CE for each month or partial month that has elapsed since the issuance of the license. 12 of the 24 contact hours must be 'live classroom', demonstration or conference. The remaining 12 contact hours may be completed in class format, home study or Online.
The 6 mandatory contact hours necessary are included in this course and offer the following:
* Prevention of Medical Errors 3 CE
* Florida Law & Rules 3 CE
* Professional Ethics 3 CE
* Social Media Marketing 3 CE added elective course)
**HIV/AIDS is no longer a required course for renewal in Florida
CEU Seminars is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education approved Provider since 2000. Our Florida Mandatory Package is offered in an online format only.
Please note although Florida only requires 2 credits each for their 3 mandatory subjects, we have provided 3 credits for each of these subjects so as to offer the 3 credit Ethics requirement needed for those also needing to renew their NCBTMB (National) certification.
